Candidate-reported interview process

I had 2 interviews over zoom with the same person. The first was the recruiter telling me about the company and what to expect. The second was about me. I asked them questions about training, pay, and how soon I would be assigned a cruise.

Applied online and then was contacted via email a few times. Had a zoom interview where the interviewer was on time. The WiFi connection was choppy. They asked the bare minimum questions and didn't ask enough to let you really sell yourself. They just wanted to know if you were okay with living in a room with eight people.

It was really fast, like 3 days from applying to getting flown out, it was kind of a rush. I couldn't believe how fast it was. Basically, they review your resume, then an online interview, then they fly you out, maybe a hotel, and then you're on the boat.
