It took 6 months but hiring manager was clear about the steps and where I was in the process, and I believe it was 2-3 months before they reached out to me. Now that I work here, I think this is not out of the ordinary. There is a long, slow, deliberate process to hiring. In the end, I'd say it was worth it.
The whole interview process took about a month to complete all the rounds. The staff was amazing and super supportive throughout the process. I enjoyed learning about the state affiliate and the ED.
The whole thing took 9 months and had 4 interviews total. One of the interviews was a team interview with 8 people. In the end, they hired someone internally and the hiring manager only told me when I followed up. I was really disappointed with the ACLU.
