We did one phone screen with the HR from the acquiring company. Then we had a face-to-face with the hiring manager about my past experience and technical skills. Finally, another face-to-face with the department director to check for culture fit.
I wasn't sure what to expect going in, but the interview turned out to be very professional and enjoyable. The questions focused on my past experience, future aspirations, and what I consider my main strengths and weaknesses.
The interview has three parts. The first two are technical interviews, and the last one is an HR round. The technical parts are quite engaging, but the HR part can be pretty boring.
