Amazon Web Services Frontend Engineer interviews, decoded.

The interview process felt quite disorganized with a lot of back and forth. I didn't really connect with the interviewer, which made the whole experience uncomfortable.

Started with an online assessment, then a phone screen that included behavioural questions and DSA. If you passed that, you went into 'the loop' which had more rounds of behavioural and DSA questions, with the difficulty increasing.

So basically the process started with a recruiter call. They then invited me to an optional call the following week where they went over the whole interview process with me and a bunch of other people. After that, there was an online coding test, followed by a technical interview. Then came a day with four interviews back-to-back. They really emphasize their leadership principles throughout.
