It was a four part interview: first a recruiter phone screen, then the hiring manager called, then an all-day interview with about 4-6 people, these included future and adjacent team members, plus a senior interviewer for an objective view, and finally a writing sample.
The interview process really dug into Amazon's Leadership Principles, using STAR stories to check for them. There were 3 rounds in total. The HR person was super helpful with setting things up and getting me ready.
There were several interview rounds. The last interview was 4 hours long, with 1 hour spent with 4 different people. They asked questions about different metrics and work experiences, and we had to use the STAR method to answer.
