The interview process here was pretty straightforward, aligning with what they had on their website and in the email they sent. The online assessment was actually pretty challenging though. It's definitely a good idea to have a solid understanding of AWS products and their leadership principles.
They have 2-3 interviews, then a Loop 1 of 4 loop interviews that go really deep. It appears they are seeking candidates with sysadmin backgrounds who are interested in moving to the customer-facing side. The answer style they expect is also quite unusual. The HR personnel are very friendly and offer preparation assistance, but essentially advise you to 'amplify' and 'invent numbers' to support your narratives, making sure to adhere to the prescribed format. Frankly, it's a rather flawed interview approach.
Went through a pretty thorough interview process, about 6 or 7 rounds total. It was a mix of technical, architectural, and leadership chats to see if I had the right expertise, could solve problems, deal with customers, and make good strategic decisions.
