First, there's a face-to-face interview. The first round is an aptitude and reasoning test. The second round is technical, where they ask in-depth questions about core Java, your projects, and advanced Java technologies like Spring and Hibernate. After passing that, you'll have a manager round to assess your development skills. Finally, there's an HR round.
I was referred to Altisource by a recruiter, who said there would be a big salary bump. They mentioned their interview process was a bit unusual: first a personality test, then an intelligence test. The final step was supposed to be a panel interview. I talked to an internal recruiter on the phone for about 20 minutes, and then she sent me a link to the personality test. I took it the next morning, but I guess I didn't pass because they didn't move forward with me.
After a recruiter set things up, I had a 30-minute phone screen with HR. Right after that, I did an online personality test. The same day, the recruiter called to schedule a 1.5-hour in-person interview for the next week. The in-person interview started with a 12-minute, 50-question Wonderlic test. Then, I went to another room for about an hour-long interview with three people at once. They seemed really focused on whether I knew their technologies and didn't care about my past experience at all. They were pretty condescending, honestly. After that, I decided I wouldn't want to work there no matter what.
