The hiring process was pretty much what I'd expect from a company wanting to hire the best people. It started with a recruiter and manager phone screen. Then I met different team members, and they each had their own interview style. Between the initial phone screen and the onsite interviews, I had to complete two assessments: the Wonderlic and a personality survey. They ran the process well, and after I finished the assessments, the team quickly moved on to talking with me. I also got to learn more about the team and the role.
I got contacted about a month after I applied online. They tried to set up a preliminary phone interview for a specific time and day. This company is super flaky though. I got an email confirming the interview for a certain day and time, but then they never called me. I had already taken the morning off work for it. I followed up with HR to ask why I missed the call. She apologized and said something came up and asked if we could do the interview later that day.
After I applied, they got back to me really fast and I had a call with a recruiter. Then, they sent me some extra questions and assessments, and after that, I had an in-person meeting with the hiring manager, who seemed really cool and smart. I then met some other people who all seemed to really like working there. I'm waiting to hear about the next steps, but it looks like whatever issues they had before have been sorted out.
