Candidate-reported interview process

I had a phone interview first that was pretty standard. Then I had an in-person interview the next week. I feel like the interviewer cared more about what was on paper than me as a person. There was little to no information given to me about the company (values, mission, etc) which was odd. She was also unable to tell me what my salary would be, couldn't even give an estimate. Was not able to answer many of my questions.

I had a pretty standard sit-down interview with the Store Manager and the District Manager. Luckily, the District Manager was in town and able to be there. If the District Manager isn't there for the initial interview, you'll need to have a separate chat with them, either on the phone or in person, before they can hire you. The conversation was really open and honest, and it seems like they have good people working for them. Basically, if you have good ethics and tell the truth, you'll do well here.

The interview was friendly. They asked me about my past work experience and described the duties and responsibilities of the assistant manager role. I felt comfortable throughout the entire experience. It was a great interview overall, though it was a bit short, which sometimes happens. I love the company.
