So I had this coding challenge, like live coding, focused on data management and thinking through all the edge cases. After that, we moved onto a systems design architecture review for data-intensive platforms. The final part was behavioral questions, about working on engineering teams. It was all done in a live python editor and they were strict about only using vanilla python, no pandas allowed.

Had multiple rounds of interview. After the technical interview, I waited a week for a response but never got one. I reached out to the recruiter at 9 AM and was told she'd have a meeting with the team at 11 AM and update me immediately after. She never responded, not even after I reached out again. Ghosted.

A recruiter reached out on LinkedIn, and we had a good chat, but then they were let go. Another recruiter took over and scheduled a coding and a system design interview. The engineers I spoke with were friendly and the interviews went well. It's been over a month since the interviews, and the recruiter who promised an update has gone silent. I was disappointed because I think the recruiting process shows how the company works internally.
