It was a phone interview. I applied for a role in process automation for CAE. They asked simple questions about scripting and coding, and also basic mechanical engineering concepts. Some questions were also based on my CV.
It was a Telephonic interview, where I was asked basic CAE questions. Mostly about HyperMesh and Altair Tools. I was interviewed by three people. First, they checked my communication skills, which have to be very good. You should have good basic knowledge on solid mechanics.
the first interview is a phone call where they'll discuss your projects and resume. the second interview is in-person and covers the basics of mechanical engineering, including strength of materials, machine design, and finite element analysis.
