Candidate-reported interview process

I found out about the opening through my university and applied online. I was first contacted by HR, and then had a remote interview. The interview felt pretty generic, like they weren't sure what they were looking for. After that, I was supposed to get an update, but never did, despite reaching out multiple times.

I sent my resume to a general email, and a recruiter reached out a few weeks later. The interview process followed, which was about 2.5 interviews, counting the recruiter interaction as half an interview. The interviewers were quite nice, and all the questions were based on my resume.

The initial screening interview was fine, but after that, the quality of interviewing really dropped off when I started speaking with higher-ups at the company. They were either very slow to respond or didn't respond at all.
