First was an assessment round with MCQ questions on core subjects and Machine learning. Then, a virtual interview focusing on Machine learning and data science. Finally, there was an HR round.
Round 1 was a technical screening focused on Core Java basics. It included coding challenges like finding the longest substring without repeating characters and designing/coding an LRU Cache. We also covered time complexity, edge cases, HashMap internals, the difference between ConcurrentHashMap and HashMap, fail-fast vs fail-safe iterators, synchronized vs Lock, volatile vs atomic, how thread pools work, and deadlock prevention. Lastly, we touched on the Producer Consumer problem.
Started with an online self-paced audio interview. Then had a second round over Zoom with a higher-level engineer where we talked about some behavioral questions and then had a casual get-to-know-you conversation.
