The interview process had 3 rounds. Round 1 was over 1.5 hours long, covering various ML & NLP topics. Round 2 involved two managers discussing predictive analytics and a specific use case. Round 3, lasting 2 hours, split time between coding and designing a solution for a given use case. I solved one coding question and explained the logic for another, but didn't proceed further.
This recruiting process was the least professional I've experienced. I initially thought it was a scam because communication was only via text and one phone call, until I received an email for the second round via video. The information provided about the second round was inaccurate, and there was no heads-up about live-coding. Additionally, one interviewer didn't show their video or introduce themselves. For a data science role, it was a red flag that they seemed to have done minimal preparation beyond the programming questions, especially considering the offered salary was significantly below market rate for the field.
Tried to set up an interview but they wanted a better portfolio for a senior role. After I improved it, I was told the job was taken.
