The recruitment process was comfortable. There were 3 rounds in total, all technical. It included a manager round and an HR round. For me, the interviews were spread over 2 days. The first day had the technical and manager interviews. After 5 days, the HR interview was conducted over a call.

I went through a pretty involved process for this role. It kicked off with an HR chat, then I had two tech interviews that got progressively harder, and finally, we got to the offer negotiation.

First, an HR screening call, about 30 minutes. Then, a technical interview lasting an hour, where I had to introduce myself and answer questions on Hadoop basics and its ecosystem components like Spark, Hive, and HDFS. This was followed by another technical interview, also an hour long, focusing on advanced Hadoop concepts, performance tuning, and troubleshooting. Finally, a 30-minute HR discussion.
