Candidate-reported interview process

My interview with Alloy was great. Amy and Pax kept me in the loop. The multiple interview rounds were well laid out and they told me the whole plan from the start, which made things go smoothly and feel really professional. I always knew where I stood and what was next. Scheduling was quick and the take-home wasn't too long. This was one of the best interview experiences I've had in my 20 years in tech.

The interview process involved 5 stages. It included a challenging technical task that required skills not explicitly mentioned in the job description. I was asked to travel to New York for a final in-person interview. It's been two weeks since then and I haven't heard back from Alloy. After investing so much time and travel days into this in-depth interview process, I would have appreciated even a rejection notice, but it seems they don't care enough to provide one. Receiving a rejection after only 1 or 2 interviews is understandable, but being asked to do so much and then not even getting a rejection notice is really disappointing.

They were clear about the process, flexible with scheduling, and asked a mix of role-specific questions, had me do a take-home, and included behavioral questions with multiple team members. Great overall.
