I was invited to several interviews, but my experiences were very bad. I hope that HR can communicate with the departments in advance whether they accept foreigners or not. If you explicitly prefer Germans, then please do not waste other people's time. Foreigners are not your tool to meet your KPIs or to show diversity. Even during the interview, the interviewers repeatedly hint that they prefer native German speakers. I think this could be recognized when selecting resumes and does not need to be asked in the interview. In several interviews, I felt a hostile and unfriendly attitude towards foreigners. Such behavior is extremely disgusting.
