Candidate-reported interview process

The interview process was super smooth and consistent. The HR team was great, keeping me updated on every stage, whether it was technical or managerial. The hiring manager was also really good, and I'm happy to be joining a team that matches what was described to me.

It was pretty laid back and casual, they wanted to know why I applied, talked about my resume, asked about my past experience and what specific skills I had that fit the job. They also asked if I had any questions about the role.

So first there was an aptitude round, it had aptitude and technical MCQs. For electronics and electrical students, the technical MCQs covered hardware concepts, and for mechanical students, they covered mechanical questions. Depending on how well you did in the aptitude section, you'd be considered for firmware or hardware roles. Then there was a group discussion on a current topic, like whether social media is good or bad. The engineering mindset should be about solutions, not research. Finally, there was a technical round and an HR round.
