It was an easy interview, with a nice panel and a great experience overall. There were 3 interviews in total, and they made me feel comfortable. An offer was made later that night, so it was a good experience, although the company CEO wasn't the friendliest.
I interviewed with hiring managers and VPs for the recruiter position. They were nice and made me feel comfortable, but I got the impression they expected long hours, mentioning multiple times that it wasn't a 9-to-5 job and that the team often stayed late. Given the low base salary of 42-45k, a weak commission structure, and the lack of a draw that other companies offer, it wasn't appealing. When they push hard during the interview, it usually means more pressure on the job. I initially accepted the offer but later declined after realizing how demanding the work was and the significant pressure upper management placed on the team.
So I had 3 interviews over 3 days, with 6 people total, and each one was about an hour. I was initially looking to be an account manager, but they ended up hiring me as a recruiter. The interviews covered standard questions about my background and career aspirations, and they also talked about the work environment, mentioning it's challenging but ultimately rewarding.
