It started with a recruiter phone screen, then a panel interview with two managers. The next step was supposed to be a panel with a case study, followed by a final interview with the CEO. I got through the first two stages and was set for the case study. I actually prepped a deck for it, but on the day of, it got postponed with no new date set. A few days later, I had the CEO interview. He asked really vague questions that were tough to answer, and I felt like I was constantly being interrupted. A few days after that, I was rejected. It felt like a waste of time since I never got to present the case study deck I worked so hard on.
It was pretty straightforward but technical. Be ready to show off your knowledge of MEDDIC, Challenger, and/or Sandler. You'll also need to talk about how you'd team up with SDRs, SEs, CSMs, and international colleagues.
Recruiter reached out. Had meetings with the VP Sales and CRO. Also got to chat with some of the current AEs. Did a short presentation to show my sales skills. They talked about the onboarding process. I was hired with some other AEs. Got the offer pretty fast.
