The interview with the hiring manager was professional. They mainly wanted to see if my past experience matched their expectations and the job scope. There weren't too many technical questions, but they asked a lot of follow-up and probing questions about my past experience, and mostly fit questions.
The first interview went fine, but the second one was the issue. I feel like I wasted my time. It was in-person at a very noisy location, the interviewer was constantly looking at their phone, and the questions were poorly structured. I noticed the job posting has been up for over two years, and I'm starting to think it's just a front because they never seem to hire anyone. If you don't want to waste your time, look for other options.
The process started with an online interview where they asked basic questions in Chinese. It involved a self-introduction and lasted about 15-20 minutes. After passing this initial stage, a written test was assigned, with a deadline of 2-4 days for completion. Overall, the process was smooth.
