Candidate-reported interview process

The whole thing took about two weeks. I had two phone interviews. They wanted me to talk about my projects and how to find the second largest number. Also asked about Layer 2, Layer 3, OSPF, and BGP.

The interview wasn't too tough. It was mainly about my past education and experience. They just wanted to see if I knew anything about networks. Depending on the interviewer, the questions were more about the job process than deep technical stuff.

I had one interview that took place on campus. They gave me an introduction to the job and the company. Then, I had to go to the whiteboard and explain what I know about a routing protocol I felt good about. After the interview, I had a few chats with the hiring manager.
