Candidate-reported interview process

The interview lasted about 40 minutes. Basic questions about curriculum, experience, and teaching philosophy were asked. Go prepared and have questions ready. Have scenarios that you can pull from.

The interview was quick and focused. The principal asked relevant questions, and I was happy with how I answered. Nothing unrelated to the job came up.

The usual application process dragged on, with interviews happening super late in the summer (like, end of July for both times), and it was less than a month before the contract year started. You'd have in-person or video chats with the assistant principal, after the head principal gave the okay.
