Candidate-reported interview process

The interview process was alright. It started with a screener, and then there was a 2-hour callback interview. They gave us plenty of time to ask questions in each interview, so make sure you've got yours ready. You can also talk to HR after the interviews.

The interview was very relaxed and informal. We had a natural conversation, and I felt comfortable enough to share everything I wanted to. The initial screening questions were standard and appropriate. I was asked two behavioral questions, so it's definitely worth practicing those.

The interview process involved meeting with two Associates and two Partners. They asked standard questions and were interested in hearing why Akin was the right firm for me. We discussed the firm's strong commitment to pro bono work and its strengths in various departments like Financial Restructuring.
