Aker Solutions Manufacturing Engineer interviews, decoded.

The interview kicked off with a chat about your background, then smoothly transitioned into the technical part. There were two interviewers, both senior and very knowledgeable. They went over my CV and asked questions based on it. My in-plant training experience was also a key focus; they wanted to know the industries I'd worked in and what I learned from it.

There's just 1 stage to go through. Usually, HR calls for an interview, and the manager from the relevant department will interview you. In my case, there weren't any technical questions asked during the interview. It was more about personality criteria. Since we already have the qualifications (like a degree or diploma), the technical criteria are considered passed.

The interview process had just one round, which lasted about an hour, as is typical. It was with the Principal Engineer and the Engineering Manager.
