I first chatted with a recruiter on the phone. Then, I had interviews with two engineers from the ML team, and finally, I met with someone from the C Suite. The whole thing was pretty smooth, and the recruiter was great at setting up the interviews. The engineers I talked to were really nice, and the interviews weren't as stressful as I've found them elsewhere.
The interview process was okay. However, in the final stage, the interviewer was over 10 minutes late and asked a difficult question, seeming very busy and not very engaged. This affected my performance, but I also see it as a learning experience to help me improve.
I applied online and had an HR call where we discussed the company and my background. Then, I had a technical and motivation interview call. After that, there were 4 rounds of interviews covering coding and ML questions, followed by a hiring manager call. I really liked the process; it gave me a good look at what they're doing and their vision. Everyone there is super smart and motivated, and even the top leaders are accessible. It was one of the best interview experiences I've had, and I chose this over 4 other offers because of the company's vision, leadership, and the interesting ML challenges.
