Candidate-reported interview process

11 people interviewed me from 3 different teams: software development, hardware development, and sustaining. The interviews started at 9 a.m. and ended at 6 p.m., including a lunch break. I got instant feedback.

The interview was technical, and they asked questions based on my resume. We also talked a lot about my projects.

Airvana visited our campus in Feb 2011 and held an aptitude test covering general aptitude, C, C++, data structures, algorithms, and OS. After passing the aptitude test, I went through two technical rounds. The first round focused on basic algorithm and OS concepts, which I passed. The second round involved a coding test where I had to implement and explain dynamic overriding. I thought I did well, but I didn't make the cut when the results were announced.
