Candidate-reported interview process

I had about 2 to 3 phone interviews and then 5 more live interviews. On top of that, there was a 6-hour skills and personality assessment test. This whole process felt really long, like I was interviewing for the CEO position. They really take their time, saying they'll hire when they find the 'right person', whatever that means. It's frustrating to invest over 30 hours into a job application, only to be rejected without even a personal phone call.

The job involves a lot of cold calling. You start by building your own customer base, which is a challenge some employees haven't overcome even after 2 years. New hires need to meet daily targets: at least 70 outbound calls and 215 minutes of phone time. Progress is checked 3-4 times a day. Meeting daily and monthly goals is required for the end-of-year bonus. The in-person interview was 2.5 hours with 4 managers who asked similar questions repeatedly. I was invited for a second interview but couldn't make the scheduled time. I asked to reschedule but got no response. If I had an offer, I would have declined it.

Had phone screenings, then in person interviews with the sales managers and VP. They asked pretty standard questions, like you'd get for most jobs. Pretty sure they were just looking for anyone.
