Applied online and had a quick phone call in a few weeks. Then, they scheduled a live coding session through an online code editor. Had an half an hour to work on one question.
Got referred by someone at airbnb. Had a technical phone interview, then two technical interviews back-to-back on skype. I think there was supposed to be a final hr round if I'd passed, but I didn't make it :-(
I applied after getting a referral and a recruiter reached out soon after. Since I'm on the East Coast, my phone screen and final interview were conducted via Skype. I needed to speed things up because I had another offer, and they were super flexible. They asked really insightful questions to gauge my fit with the team, and the recruiters were very helpful. After my phone screen and before my last interview, a recruiter briefed me on what to expect next in the process, which was great.
