Candidate-reported interview process

The recruiters were super nice to everyone. You don't have to dress up. It's all group interviews with a few fun activities. For me, it was a debate, but they sometimes do role-playing too. They really want you to speak up and join in! Being active is the best way to get noticed. They also give you a peek into how they work. You can even shadow someone already at air bnb who will show you what the job is like. The whole thing took about 3 hours.

First, I had a phone interview with the HR manager who was visiting from Singapore. Then, we did a creative group activity to check teamwork, followed by a simulation where I had to handle a customer's claim over the phone.

The interview process was quite lengthy and communication was handled via email. I appreciated the chance to speak with various team members, as it provided ample opportunity for both the company and myself to assess if the role and Airbnb were a good fit.
