We talked with an intern about my motivations, experience, and academic background. Then, there was a technical test on a case study with two people for about 1 hour. Lastly, I had a chat with the team manager to introduce myself.
Generally good, first you do an online test then a phone call then a personal interview, meet the manager then refusal or acceptance but generally the process is long and it can take 4 to 8 weeks for an internship/work-study.
The interview process involved a fit interview, followed by a manager interview. Then there was a technical test, similar to a Kaggle competition. After that, a 1.5-hour technical interview with data scientists, which included a review of the test, theoretical questions on machine learning, and an algorithms question. Finally, there was an HR interview.
