First, I had a recruiter screening call. Then, a call with a Data Scientist to discuss general aspects. Next, an interview with a Principal DS. After that, an interview with two Principal DS where we covered puzzles, time series, and other topics. Finally, I interviewed with two Director-level people in Operations Research.
First, there was about a 20 minute HR screen where they asked fit questions and about your career planning, like why Aimpoint Digital, why a consultant, etc. Second, there was a 4 hour take home coding challenge on a CSV dataset using Python. You could do absolutely anything you wanted, it seemed simple, but I failed.
After applying online, I had a first virtual interview with a Data Scientist. We discussed my background, salary expectations, what consulting entails, and my familiarity with decision trees/random forests. Next was a 4-hour take-home python project using a provided dataset to answer specific questions, primarily testing pandas skills and data handling for missing/null values. The final round was a 1-hour technical interview with two Data Scientists, which felt more like brain teasers than Data Science work, testing how I'd react under pressure. They weren't very clear about what to expect, making preparation difficult.
