Candidate-reported interview process

It was pretty straightforward. I first sent an email to ask about a job. Then I talked to my future managers who asked me a few things. They explained their ongoing projects and then they gave me the job right away.

I saw the job ad on the university's career network right before the semester ended. I applied and they got back to me quickly to set up an interview, which I was able to get the very next day.

Had a casual Zoom chat with my future boss because of COVID. It was pretty laid-back and short, only about 10-15 minutes. They were understanding about English being a second language and gave extra time for answers.
