I had an interview with two people. They asked me questions about my abilities. They told me that they would score my answers and the person with the highest score would get the job. We talked about my past jobs and my skills, and how I'd handle different situations. The atmosphere was really nice and the people were friendly.
The interview felt robotic and devoid of personality, warmth, or any sense of human interaction. It was an uncomfortable, long, and draining experience, akin to being interrogated by the police. I was eager for the call to end. To add to the awfulness, after enduring this, there was no follow-up communication to inform me of the outcome.
The interviewers were really nice and made me feel comfortable before they started asking questions. First, the interviewer explained the interview process, how many people were being interviewed, and when I could expect to hear back.
