I went through two rounds for this consultant position. Each round involved a business case. The first business case was about computing the LCOE of a wind farm, and you really needed to know the basic figures for that. The second business case was about extending district heating. I was really disappointed with the second interview because the interviewer said I did great, but then I got a generic email saying I didn't make it to the next round. I tried to get feedback, but never heard back.
The selection process happened in 3 steps. First, a call with general HR in English (about two months after applying), then one with the managers, and finally, a quick interview with the Principal in Italian.
I had a good interview experience. But the position was cancelled because of restructuring, so I didn't go much further. The process wasn't drawn out, and they communicated proactively.
