We listened to your description about the untapped potential that Aflac insurance agents could bring within 3-5 years and how the structure of the current insurance market could be changed. Then we were given time to answer questions.
When I got there, they put me in a room with some other people interviewing. We watched a TED talk first. Then, for about an hour, they told us how the business operates. It's totally commission-based and honestly seems pretty unrealistic. A lot of the talk was about how you can set your own hours and that your pay depends on how hard you work. It kind of felt like a pyramid scheme, and maybe exploitative. Not the best vibe. If you're into sales, it could be for you. But if not, maybe pass.
So first, we'll go over an intro to Aflac, what we expect, and for us to learn about you. Just be open and honest. We'll show you what's been working for thousands of others. This is a cold outreach kind of role, involving cold calling, it's a numbers game.
