Candidate-reported interview process
It began with a quiz with about 20-30 critical thinking questions. Then there were 5-6 interview rounds with different team members. The first person I talked to asked me if I cheated on the quiz. Besides that, everyone was nice. It was a very long day.
Submitted my CV online, didn't need a cover letter. A current analyst reached out about two weeks later to set up an interview. The interviewer focused a lot on my background, like my past internships and college education. It wasn't overly challenging or weird. I'm not sure if it went great or poorly, but I never heard back from Affinnova. They didn't even bother to let me know anything, even after I followed up a week after the interview. No reply at all. I really think companies should respond to candidates, especially after an interview. It's a bad look for the company and really turned me off.
After a phone screening, I went through two rounds of interviews at the office. The team was welcoming, and the conversations flowed easily. They were more interested in understanding me as an individual to assess my fit within the team, rather than focusing strictly on my technical skills.
