The process was very agile, they quickly arranged interviews with HR and then with the department head. I didn't like that HR guaranteed they would inform me either way, and not only did they never do so, but when I wrote to them to ask, they never responded.
I applied to AGEON in Dublin for an actuarial industrial placement. I had a phone interview but unfortunately didn't pass. This call was with both an HR person and the leader of the team I applied for. It kicked off with introductions to the company and the role, followed by a self-introduction from me. Then, we covered some questions about my competencies.
I applied for an actuarial position at Aegon in Den Haag. The first interview was with a team leader and HR. Mostly competency-based questions that require concrete examples. Aegon is an international company, but the Den Haag HQ is very Dutch-oriented, especially the actuarial department.
