AECOM Recruiter interviews, decoded.

It was a nice interview in English with the hiring manager from the UK and some other international team members. Then, there was another talk with a German HR person, in German. She made a comment about my accent that I didn't find very appropriate, saying 'your German is good, you have a little bit of accent,' even though I'm not a native speaker. She also asked about the number of kids I have and wanted reassurance that my husband and I could handle them if I got the job.

I spoke with 2 managers who interviewed me. The interview was well-organized and they asked good questions. They asked a mix of questions about my background, my experience, and why I wanted to work there. Then, we discussed the role itself, what it would involve, and any challenges, and whether it would be a good fit for me. We also talked about things like start dates and salary. They told me when I could expect to hear back from them after the interview.

Had a phone interview with the recruiter and then was asked to do a video interview. I completed the video interview right away and never heard back from the recruiter after that. Not an acknowledgement or not even a rejection email.
