Candidate-reported interview process

The interview process was not great. People were late, and there was no clear information about the role, responsibilities, or staffing. The department's strategy, direction, and growth plans, or any specializations, were also unclear. Overall, it was below my expectations.

Had an informal meeting where I met with the directors of the Architectural directors. It was interesting to see the current trends and values Aecom had to offer. The questions were asked in a relaxed manner and made you feel comfortable.

The interview process was unnecessarily confrontational. The interviewers didn't seem to have read my CV and asked unrelated, unchallenging questions. There was no job description shared; the whole process felt panicky and chaotic. When I pushed back, the interviewers became defensive. It was a surreal experience.
