First, there was a quick chat with HR about my qualifications. Then, I had an interview with management. Often, there's also a peer interview with the clinic nurses afterwards. The management interview gave me the most insight into the role and what's expected. The peer interviews were a good chance to meet my potential future team and see if our personalities would click.
The interview was conducted over zoom. They asked some general questions to get to know you. They also asked about your nursing background and info about the floor and the patients they handle and the work load.
There was one interview over zoom with the manager of the nursing unit and a few nurses. Then there was a shadow day with the manager and charge nurse on the unit to see how it is.
