It was a 2-round process. The first round went well, and the second round was also good, I answered 80% of the questions correctly. However, the manager expects 100% correct answers for selection based on the feedback. It's hard to understand how anyone can provide 100% correct answers unless they've worked at the same company or already knew the questions. It's unclear on what basis they are rejecting and selecting candidates, it seems to be based solely on references.
The interview was conducted over video call. The questions asked felt more theoretical and less related to practical project experience. Internet connectivity issues throughout the process made it quite irritating. I found the interview process to be very lengthy. I was expecting questions about my roles and responsibilities from previous jobs and the challenges I faced, but the interviewer seemed more interested in textbook-style answers.
To apply, submit your resume and expect an initial screening within about a week. Then, you'll do a technical assessment, which might include coding challenges, a take-home project, or technical tests. After that, there will be several interview rounds, covering both technical and behavioral aspects. The final interview is where you'll chat about how you approach problems, your past experiences, and if you're a good fit for the company's values. If everything goes well, you'll get feedback and a job offer.
