First, I had a phone chat with the hiring manager. Then, I went in for an in-person interview with another district manager in the same area. The whole thing took about two weeks. They were nice and easy to talk to.
Hiring for this role can take a while, about 2 months. If you're in a remote area, you might be the only applicant, and they sometimes hire the first person who applies. Make sure you research what people make in your area because pay isn't standardized and can vary by $15,000. Since there are no raises, don't shortchange yourself on salary. They actually prefer to hire and train new managers rather than give raises, which is why they have high turnover. You also won't be able to give raises to your team. Turnover is really high here.
I talked to a recruiter first. Then, the account manager interviewed me on Skype.
