Candidate-reported interview process

You gotta know RF and power converters cold. They'll ask a lot about your resume, so be ready. Knowing S-parameters is key, and some firmware knowledge would be great. Also, a bit about how semiconductors are made wouldn't hurt.

Since I was local, I'm not sure if there was an initial phone screen. I had to present for an hour on a topic related to the job that I chose. They seemed to be assessing my technical skills and how familiar I am with reliability, plus my experience with development program stages. The HR part was pretty standard, they were nice and gave me info freely... until we got to salary, then they kind of tried to get the best deal for themselves, which is pretty common for HR.

The interview is on-site. First, there's a 1-hour exam covering ECE topics with an essay part. If you pass that, you'll have an interview about your electronics and circuit fundamentals knowledge.
