The interview process started with an initial chat with the HR manager to confirm basic qualifications and review my CV. Next, I had a 30-minute discussion with the department director, focusing on more technical aspects of purchasing and my motivations for choosing Adidas. The final stage was at the Adidas headquarters in Germany. It had a relaxed, coffee shop-like setting. I was given a case study about my role two days prior, which I found quite challenging given the short timeframe. I had to present my findings and a graphic illustrating my career progression.

I put in my application online back in January, and within a week I got an email to schedule a chat with a recruiter. After that initial chat, they set up an interview with the Hiring Manager and the team for the next week. The whole thing took about 3 weeks and felt pretty good.

Finally, there was an interview with the Head of Supply Chain. The whole process took over 3 weeks. I was told they went with another candidate, but the Purchasing Specialist position is still open.
