The atmosphere was unpleasant. Deep technical questions for a junior position seemed inappropriate to me. But Adesso took it to the extreme with their salary offer. If it had been clear from the start that it was about such a low gross salary, I would have cancelled the conversation.
It was all very straightforward. I first had a phone interview with the hiring manager, then a zoom call with the hiring manager and the 'CC Leiter'. They made the offer within 24 hours.
After submitting my application, I was invited for a conversation. It was a relaxed exchange of information from both sides. Since it became clear during the conversation that I was pursuing a different focus than my interviewer, a second conversation was organized.
