Adecco Group Project Manager interviews, decoded.

First, there was a phone call, then I had two actual interviews. The first one was at the company's main office, and the second one was at the client's location. In between those, I did two tests, one of which was an Excel test, requested by the client.

The recruiter ghosted me twice after setting up interview dates. The phone interview started okay, but it became apparent the recruiter wanted to steer me toward a different role than the one I applied for. When I probed further about the specific role, the recruiter became hostile, criticizing my resume and claiming I was unqualified. I questioned why they contacted me if they felt that way. I declined an offer for an alternative position and ended the call, thanking them for the experience. It was an unpleasant interaction; recruiters shouldn't make candidates feel diminished.

The interview process was really smooth and nice. We started with an HR round, then had a few more rounds with the direct managers. The very last round was back with HR to finalize the contractual details. It all happened pretty quickly.
