Candidate-reported interview process

This was a great interview process, honestly one of the best I've experienced, especially for evaluating the specific skills and experience needed for this role. The panel and leaders were really involved at every stage, asking insightful questions and genuinely trying to understand how my background could fit with their team.

I went through 3 rounds of interviews and got an offer. The first round was about my research experience, methods and projects. Then, there was a live exercise based on a short take-home assignment. The final round was with the hiring manager and the practice director. The interviews felt fair, no tricks, and they were really keen to understand my thinking and teamwork.

Had an initial phone chat with the recruiter. Then a video call with two researchers, which was a really nice conversation. After that, I did a practice research task with two researchers where I moderated a role play web usability session. They didn't ask for a portfolio. They were really open about what it's like working there and spoke very highly of the company, which turned out to be totally true after I started.
