They talked about my interest in the role and my skills. They were really interested in my asp.net website skills, which got me an onsite interview. The onsite wasn't too difficult, and everyone was really nice and patient throughout the process.

So, before anything, you'll have to do an online aptitude test. It's pretty tough, only about 30% of people in North America actually pass it. They've apparently relaxed the requirements a bit in China, not sure if that's for China's recruitment or just to make things more even. If you're thinking of applying, and you have to take this test, remember that wrong answers don't hurt you, so when you get close to the end, just guess the rest. You've got a 25% chance of getting them right that way. You need to pass this test twice: once from home, and then again at Active's offices if you get through the first interview stage. Don't mess it up, they only let 30% pass.

They gave me a scenario and asked me to design database tables and write some queries. Then, we talked about Java Utilities, and it ended with some HR stuff.
