The initial calls were good, just getting to know each other and such. But the take-home assignment is really unreasonable. You're expected to spend no more than 3 hours doing data exploration, visualizations, feature engineering, and supervised model training on a large proprietary dataset which is unlabeled. It really caused me frustration at various points, and I'm writing this to help you if you're reading this. They really need to improve their take-home assignment.

I got a phone interview invite from HR the day after I applied. The first interview was with a software engineer and it was pretty straightforward. Then, they scheduled another phone interview with the data science team, but it ended up being canceled.
